Copyright and Licensing Policy

Publishing Policy

The publishing policy of this journal is "publish-as-you-go" — after completing the review process, an article is assigned a DOI and published online in the current issue. When the issue period ends, a new issue is activated and articles with DOIs are added until the end of the issue period. Accepted articles are therefore published without waiting for the full issue period to conclude.

Copyright Policy

Copyrights for articles are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal/publisher. Authors can reuse, republish, archive, and distribute their articles after publication. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. Authors shall permit the publisher to apply a DOI to their articles and to archive them in databases and indexes.
Authors retain all copyrights and are not required to sign copyright transfer agreements.

Open Access Policy

The Journal of Petroleum and Mining (JPM) follows the Gold Open Access model in publishing. All articles are made immediately available online upon publication, without subscription or access charges.
Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose.

Submission Policy

Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration elsewhere, and that publication is approved by all authors and by the authorities responsible where the work was conducted.

The journal accepts submissions that have previously appeared on preprint servers (e.g., arXiv, bioRxiv, SSRN, Vixra), or have been presented at conferences or in other non-journal venues. Authors are responsible for updating the archived preprint with the journal reference (including DOI) and a link to the published version upon publication.

The publisher and journal have a zero-tolerance plagiarism policy. All submissions are checked using plagiarism prevention tools (e.g., Grammarly) and reviewer verification. A similarity index below 20% is required, with no single-source match exceeding 2%. Self-plagiarism is considered a form of plagiarism.
