Journal Funding Sources, Publication Fees, and Open Access Policy
The Journal of Petroleum and Mining (JPM) is a non-profit, open-access journal published by the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, University of Mosul, Iraq.
Funding Sources
JPM does not charge any article processing or submission fees. The journal is fully supported and funded by the University of Mosul through the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering.
This support covers:
- Website hosting and maintenance
- Editorial and peer review operations
- DOI registration and digital archiving
- Online publication and dissemination
The journal does not accept advertising, commercial sponsorships, or external funding. All editorial decisions are made independently to maintain transparency and academic integrity.
Publication Fees
At present, no submission or publication fees are charged to authors.
If publication fees are introduced in the future, the details will be announced clearly on the journal’s website in advance.
Open Access Policy
JPM follows an Open Access publishing model.
All published articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or access charges.
Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full text of the articles without prior permission from the publisher or the authors, in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.
